Japan Dream Tours: Connecting Cultures and Creating Memories

By

At Merit Holidays, we believe that traveling is about more than just visiting destinations, it is about bringing people together, sharing experiences, and creating bonds that last a lifetime. Following the incredible success of our Japan Dream Tour 2026, we were thrilled to build on that momentum for our latest journey from 5 April to 13 April 2027.

A Global Gathering in the Land of the Rising Sun

Our 2027 tour was a truly international affair. We had the pleasure of hosting 22 wonderful travelers who journeyed from Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and India. Watching these families meet for the first time in Japan and transform into a close-knit “travel family” was a highlight of the experience. Accompanied by our dedicated Merit Holidays tour director and a knowledgeable local guide, the group navigated the cultural wonders of Japan with ease and joy.

🇯🇵 Highlights of Our Japan Journey

Our 9-day itinerary was designed to balance the high-energy modernism of Japan’s cities with the deep, quiet beauty of its traditions.

  • Tokyo – Modernity & Tradition: We began in the capital, exploring Asakusa, the historic Senso-ji Temple, and the breathtaking views from the Tokyo Skytree.
  • Mt. Fuji & Lake Kawaguchiko: One of our most memorable days was spent in the Fuji region. A cruise on Lake Kawaguchiko and a ride on the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway provided spectacular photo opportunities, made even more magical by the blooming spring cherry blossoms.
  • Hiroshima & Peace: Traveling by the world-famous Shinkansen (Bullet Train), we journeyed to Hiroshima. Visiting the Peace Memorial Park and Museum was a deeply moving experience that offered our group a moment of reflection and historical appreciation.
  • Miyajima – A Magical Island: The ferry ride to Miyajima and the visit to the iconic floating Torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine remained a favorite for many of our guests.
  • Kobe & Kyoto: In Kobe, we explored the earthquake memorial and beautiful coastal scenery. In Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan, we walked through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and marveled at the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji).
  • Osaka Finale: We concluded our adventure in Osaka, immersing ourselves in the city’s world-renowned food culture and vibrant shopping districts.

🍱 All-Inclusive Comfort & Expert Coordination

What sets Merit Holidays apart is our commitment to a stress-free experience. Our tours are fully inclusive, covering all breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, so our guests can focus entirely on the scenery rather than the logistics.

The success of these trips is largely thanks to our leadership. Our tour director brings 25 years of experience to the table, ensuring that every transfer, check-in, and sightseeing stop is perfectly executed. As our customers noted in their review videos, the level of organization provided allowed everyone to relax and fully enjoy the beauty of the Japanese culture.

❤️ More Than Just a Holiday

For Merit Holidays, these tours are about creating memories. We are incredibly grateful to our 2026 and 2027 travelers for their enthusiasm and positive spirit. Seeing families from Australia and India connect over shared meals and new discoveries is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you to all our travelers for choosing Merit Holidays.
